I have been working as a freelance interpreter since 2012. I have experience interpreting in a variety of settings, such as during factory visits, business negotiations, international conferences, cultural events and so on. Simultaneous interpretation is usually performed at conferences, seminars, lectures, forums and other big events. It requires a team of two interpreters and it involves the use of booths and equipment (microphones and headphones).
Consecutive interpretation is usually performed in smaller meetings, business negotiations, presentations, fairs and exhibitions, initial business contacts, where the interpreter sits next to the participants. It is performed taking notes of the original speech and subsequently relaying the information in the other language. Depending on the venue may or may not require the use of a microphone.

I am an Italian native speaker. I have lived and studied in the United States for almost 5 years, acquiring a near-native level of English. I have been studying Russian for over 10 years and I have lived and worked in Moscow for about 2 years.
I therefore provide interpreting services between Italian and English, Italian and Russian and English and Russian.
Interpreting fees are usually per full-day (maximum 8 hours). They depend on the languages involved, the interpreting mode, complexity of the topic and length of the event. Interpreting fees always include a thorough preparation to every assignment.
